Journey to Maeshowe tomb in Scotland

If you draw most most information from history books, what you’ve been told is not the whole story; and history books are always revised by ‚the last winner‘ on top of the food chain. That is why unraveling the grandiose story of which Maeshowe tomb is one tiny aspect, seems utmost complex. Please, understand if I simplify and jump some things. Even a bit unusual, this ‚island hopping‘ finally offers a broader horizon. Let us build a field of understanding of connections around the Maeshowe construction, before we put it under the microscope, because from here, things are simpler and you recognize the greater picture.

The term upheaval derives from Middle English upheven, from Old English ūphebban, ūpāhebban, meaning to exalt, fly, lift up, raise up, rise in the air, thrust something or someone upward forcefully, equivalent to up- plus‎ heave. Cognate with Dutch opheffen and German aufheben, meaning to elevate, lift, lift up, raise. The term requires a certain form of activity. Activity needs energy. This energy must come from somewhere or someone.

Upheaval denotes a process. Needs space and time. It is a change from one state to another. Sort of transformation. Translocalisation. A crossing. Pass-over. Next term: upset. It derives from Middle English upset, upsetten, meaning the act of setting up, the arrangement, establishment re setup of something. From up- +plus set; set derives from Middle English setten, from Old English settan, from Proto-West Germanic *sattjan, from Proto-Germanic *satjaną (compare Arabic شَيْطَان‎, šayṭān, meaning demon, devil, fiend, jinn, from the root ش ي ط‎, š-y-ṭ, meaning to burn, scorch. For example, on a throne chair or in a Lotus flower. The exact counter concept in a permanent changing world. The braking, blocking, slowing down activity re ‚persisting element‘ in the cycle of  inhale and exhale. Of ubiquitous becoming and passing away. A stone in the gearbox of the circle of life.

Let us have another look at upset, interpreted as ‘up-Seth’. Seth represents the ancient Egyptian concept, – and when cast into a superhuman form, when deified, the ‚deity‘, – accompanying sun god Ra (Latin alphabet checksum 18+1 = 19; Re 18+5 = 23 re 5) on his barque to repel Apep/Apophis, the natural law of the dissolution of all residual forms in the subtle hereafter and ‚herebefore‘. When animalised, Seth is depicted the composite figure of various animals, with the body of a canine, like Anubis. Or as the Serpent of Chaos re the Lord of the Chaos realm.

 

Etymological drill-hole chaos, chasm

The term chaos derives from Ancient Greek χάος, kháos, officially meaning abyss, chasm, emptiness, vast void, the wide empty space between the stars and between our planet and the stars, from Proto-Indo-European *ǵʰeh₂n-, meaning gape, yawn, to open the mouth re mouth opening. See modern German gähnen, from PIE ghé-, meaning gap, yawn. I remind you of the Ancient Egyptian mouth-opening ceremony. The inhalation ceremony re breathing in ceremony. The First Breath Ritual, if we refer it to birth. When we add a soul aspect, we talk about another birth, a new birth, re-birth, and end up re-embodiment, re-incarnation, re-surrection. The latter, when sun god Re/Ra, – or those who adorn themselves with this solar light mask-mantle, – crossed the afterlife sphere, the so-called chaos, to resurrect ‚the next morning‘ (by the way: morning derives from PIE *mr̥kéno, *mr̥kóno, *mr̥Hko, meaning blink, glisten, ray of light, glimmer, shimmer, twinkle). IOW:  at the first, earliest possible chance to do so. The next glimmer of opportunity. This is the one and only goal of ‚Project Civilization‘ before eliminated (the more than critical stage we now have entered. Become aware of the extreme magnitude of the changes taking place!): to build over here the perfect eternity-vessel in the three-dimensional realm for remnants behind the veil to jump in there. To finally bring them, – via this artificial, exotic loophole, – out of the ether-sphere and back to the living here in the three-dimensional, material world. All this says a lot about the real conditions in the otherworld for those who do not want to let go. Who continue to fight for their (rest)existence. Short sidenote: chaos is close connected to chasm, which derives from Latin chasma, from Ancient Greek χάσμα, khásma, meaning abyss, cleft, expanse, hollow, open mouth, open wide, space. Note that in German a dog bellt (barks) re kläfft (yelps). Kläffen is closest connected to klaffen (yawning).

Back to chaos. Let us take away the average Ancient Greek word ending -os from χάος, kháos.  Now we are left with only χά, khá, ka.

Greek culture drew many impulses from Ancient Egypt. K, Ka, is the Ancient Egyptian concept of the soul, the spirit re the etheric body. The double, spirit, vital essence re vital force, lifeforce, vitality, Hence, Ancient Greek χάος, khá-os, is our etheric body that permanently surrounds and permeates us as a subtle second body re ‚double‘, or the same on bigger conzepts, as spouses, family, group, country, continent etc.

Hence, Ka is ‘the delimited, individualized aspect of the greater etheric sphere. The double. The second body of our planet. The cha-os, in which the three-dimensional sphere breathes, from which the material world is born, rises, to which it re-turns, and in which all old, outworn form remainders quite naturally be dissolved again and again. Only by this recycling circle always enough building material is available for all life phenomena in the three-dimensional realm of the planet. To store parts or ‚bodies‘ of it somewhere safely, to encapsulate it eternally, seems so destructive when it comes to the circle of life.

Note that in the Latin alphabet, letter ‚k‘ is the 11th letter. 11 is a ‚double‘ letter, a ‚II‘ number. The sum of digits of Ka is 11+1 = 12. We find this concept a little later in the Twelver, the ’12er‘, Jupiter, in Ju-Ptah, IO-Ptah. You already guess here how closely concepts are interwoven. This utmost variable ether sphere is a small world!

Note: reverse Ka to Ak. Ak- re Akn, Aken, Aqen. Aken means concealed, hidden, underneath. Aken was the Ancient Egyptian underworld deity who guided sun god Ra as ‚the helmsman and protector of Ra’s celestial night bark‘ (have a look at the name Akhen-Aten. The one who made it to the goal of the undead’s vision: survival of dissolution in the ethersphere plus rebirth in an artificial, always renewable embodiement, the so-called Avatar vehicle). Aken is the top ‚barker‘, closest interwoven with Anubis, the ‚bark’ing god of the N-ether-world. He cocoones, envelopes, re ‚burries‘ Ra/Re, to hide him, respectivele the whole vehicle, from the natural process of dissolution. IOW: he mummifies the ‚Re-st existence‘, with a hide, to hide re preserve the subtle parts of the deceased from breaking up. After guarding and transporting the treasure through the ‚extreme chaotic‘ underworld, the Aker concept gives birth to the eternally young god Chepri, Khepri, ḫpr (Ancient Egyptian pr means house, palace, temple), conventional anglicization Kheper, the Lord of the Rising Sun (of resurrection, ascencion). Back to Aker alias Aken re Kherty. According to Georg Meurer’s book: Die Feinde des Königs in den Pyramidentexten (= Orbis biblicus et orientalis, vol. 189). Saint-Paul, 2002, ISBN 3525530463, pp. 5 & 325, and Erik Hornung, Marsha Hill: The tomb of Pharaoh Seti I. Artemis Verlag, 1991, ISBN 3760810470, pp. 19) Aken was also described as the Mouth of the Time, from which gods and demons pulled the ‚rope of time‘. This brings us close to the Ancient Egyptian Mouth Opening Ceremony. Aker was depicted as 2 lions sitting back to back with the Sun disc habitat safe between them. Note that the caduceus, the rod of Hermes, expresses the same more abstract.

Ultimately the only project of a way out for this ’society‘ that is always confronted with its own full-scale disappearance in the ether sphere.

Back to K re Ka. Letter K derives from Greek Kappa, Phoenician kaph, Proto-Canaanite kap, ultimately from PIE *kap-, *gʰabʰ-, meaning to confiscate, hold, impound, seize. A concept, hard to realize in the subtle ether sphere and its task in the planetary body. The Ancient Egyptians painted an open hand as hieroglyph for what today letter ‚k‘. The Freemason motto Ordo ab Chao, (Ordre ab ‚Ka‘, ‚Ordre ab hand‘ re handshake) that, superficially speaking, means Out of chaos, comes order, now takes on another meaning: out of the ether sphere, comes an artificial, un-natural order. That is fundamentally correct. In the course of the millennia developments took place in the ether sphere which aimed at another, a different, a countersystem, a new, (world) order.

In ancient cosmology, ether describes a shining substance, more subtle than fluids and gases, in which all celestial bodies orbit. The wide empty space. The so-called 5th element. The fith dimension. Remember: the wide empty space was the meaning of the´Ancient Greek term chaos.We have to look very closely now, otherwise we we do not get it. Chaos is not complete disorder or confusion, but in contrast to the rather fixed, ’slow‘ forms and trans-form-ations in the material world, such a fast medium in which so many changes can take place at the same time that it all seems much too confusing and ‚chaotic‘ to the materially ’s‘-low minded.

In Roman days it was regarded the highest and purest part of the atmosphere. Furthermore, a heavenly light sphere and ethereal matter surrounding a deity. A ’star‘. Since the ether sphere is the place of planetary transship, the hub, for imports into and exports from the material world, where, logically, nothing is allowed to endure, but only to be shifted as in a forwarding company, a concept of eternal, static, permanent, in this ‚transit country‘, is quite unnatural. A complete artificial anti-concept. It will also be immediately clear to you that someone who wants to exist permanently wants to get away from this loading/unloading sphere as quickly as possible! That is the starting point of the occult-religious-spiritual complex and its great promises….

Let us trace the etymological journey of the term ether a little further back in time. In the same way as in Ancient Rome, already in Ancient Greece we find the αἰθήρ, aithḗr concept. A heavenly, pure medium of an extreme thinness of consistency and great elasticity. It derives from αἴθω, aíthō, aithein, meaning to blaze, burn, ignite, kindle, shine, from Proto-Indo-European *h₂eydʰ-, *ayd-, *aidh-, meaning to burn re fire. Recognize the connection to Modern German Eid, meaning oath, swear, vow, leading back to indogermanic *h₁ei-, meaning going on a defined, set path. The five-pointed star or the pentagram expresses this also.

Eternal derives from Middle English eternal, from Old French eternal, from Late Latin aeternālis, from Latin aeternus, meaning eternal, from aevum, meaning age, earlier aevom, aivom, from Proto-Italic *aiwom, meaning age, period, Proto-Germanic *aiwi-, meaning ever, from Proto-Indo-European *aiw-, ayu-, *h₂eyu-, meaning lifetime, long time, eternity, vital force, from PIE *h₂ey-, meaning life, vital force, as well as age, eternity, in other words eternal life, from a homonymous root meaning day, morning. Accordingly also sunrise. That is the root of all anthropomorphisations re deifications we find in all sorts of  ‚Sol Invictus‘-like solar deity concepts and the whole magico-religious pantheon panorama of various civilizations. Officially, the Et(h)ernals are portrayed and presented as loving helpers of mankind. But reality is quite different… and a bit like Jekyll & Hyde. ‚Eternal God‘ is a wonderfull looking wrapping around resident hardcore ego remants in the n-ether-worldly realm around our planet Earth, trying to make it out of there forever. Most informations about deities and especially sun gods are based on what channelled from the Otherworld Public Relations Office, perceptions during the use of psychotropic substances, uncontrollable clairvoyance, clairaudience and in general an openness to impressions from the n-ther-realm re those trying to trade amazing stuff from over t-here, for attention, because where attention goes, energy flows; and energy is very much needed in an environment that is continually your most dangerous adversary if you want to stay there permanently. English to heave, meaning to exalt, lift (up), raise, and derives from Middle English hebben, heven, from which derives heaven, meaning elevated place, exhalted realm, Garden of the Gods. Hence, heaven is not a higher ground per se, something timeless and always existing, but a concept brought up from the sphere of the dead. We see this also in its root, Old English *hafjan, heofon, from Proto-West Germanic *hebun, according to wiktionary.org, possibly from Proto-Germanic *hebnaz, from earlier *hemnaz with nasal dissimilation, either syncopated from or a parallel formation of *himinaz and doublet with *himil, meaning heaven. Possibly from Proto-Germanic *hebnaz, from earlier *hemnaz with nasal dissimilation, either syncopated from or a parallel formation of *himinaz and doublet with *himil, meaning heaven, sky, as still today in German Himmel), from Old English hebban, from Proto-West Germanic *habbjan, from Proto-Germanic *habjaną, meaning to lift, to take up, from Proto-Indo-European *kap-yo-, *kh₂pyéti (from *kap-, meaning to acquire, grab, hold, seize, i.e. an area or place which was actively struggled for, fought for), plus‎ suffix *-yéti. The root of *kh₂pyéti is *kap-, *keh₂p-, with an identical meaning. The PIE root is also close connected to possessive to have and haven in the sense of security and ultimate being arrived. Both counterproductive concepts in a constantly changing universe with countless dangers and periodic dissolution of all forms.

Todays cap expresses still the same: a domed hat re the highest place. If we do not work our way into etymological tracking down the line, and adopt this existential view of things, we will always fall prey to the wide range of longterm coordinated ‚myths‘. If you find a myth slightly modified all over the world and in all aspects of the ORS-Complex, it might be true – or might not. It is merely a sign of a successful coordination ‚from the toolkit‘ and ‚great logistical effort‘ out of the n-ether-worldly spheres around us and has nothing to do with reality.

The turning over of words is a good exercise to see the activities of the two ‚baboon‘ spheres a little more clearly. 

 

Officially, seen from our Western Scientific Worldview, Maeshowe is a Neolithic chambered ‘cairn and passage grave’, built around 3000 BC on the mainland of the Orkney Islands in Scotland. The term cairn derives from Proto-Celtic *karnos, from Proto-Indo-European *kerh-, meaning head, horn, top, potentially a collective derivation in *-h² from *ker-, meaning to grow. A possible loan relation with Proto-Semitic *karn-, meaning horn, has also been suggested, but is disputed’ (www.wiktionary.org; searchword kerh-)

Maeshowe is one of the island’s largest buildings of that sort, consisting of a mound reaching a height of 24 feet. It encases a complex of passages and chambers built from crafted slabs of flagstone. As it was built during the final period of Stone Age, the New Stone Age, it is older than Stonehenge and most of the pyramids of Egypt. Let us have a close look at what this tomb can tell us.

The name Maes-howe: the term maes is used when referring to an area, a field, pitch site, used for a specific purpose. Such as maes glo, meaning coal field (wiktionary.org, searchword maes).  Maeshowe in Old Norse is Orkhaugr, meaning Hill of the Orcs. In Roman myth, Orcus was an alternate name for the underworld (Hades), as well as Dis Pater, the god of the realm of the un-dead and derived from the ancient Egyptian n-ether-world god Ptah). Hence Hill of the (Un)Dead. The concept maes also derives from Proto-Indo-European *meh₂gʰ-, *meǵh₂-, meaning to be able to, to help, re great, power, sorcerer, from the PIE root *megʰ-, meaning to be able, capable. The Measure of Maeshowe

 

In general, to better understand the meaning and significance of the Maeshowe landmark, we approach it, quite naturally and unconsciously, from our current mindset. How could we otherwise. However, even not that easy, it is utmost rewarding to unravel this construction when we try to approach the mindset of the Neolithic population and their builders, through research and getting yourself into their world and lives.

In almost all architectural ORS-Complex solutions, the following concepts are central:

 

1) grave vaults, domes, tombs (and with it, of course, the concept of hill, mound, mountain, building vertical)

 

2) a certain method, path, transformation, to stand up, rise, rise up, resurrect. The desire to want to go up, rise (and with it, of course, the concept of hill, mound, mountain). The call upwards to leave the lowlands, lower spheres, leave lower drives behind, lower consciousness etc; to go out and up, pass over, from a darker, lower state of existence, the valley-consciousness, up into light and enlightenment.

Up is the core aspect in the ORS agenda. Up, on high, is striving in the opposite direction to the downward pull of gravity. Away from the ground re surface of the earth to physically higher level and a more elevated position.

On 19:25 in the movie, when the evil queen puts her claws into the heart of the young feller who tried to kill her with his dagger, we learn that the evil lives from the heart energy of the just and pure. If some undead have the insane, egomaniacal project in mind, to trick the laws of nature and survive the grave, then it is obvious that they like to identify themselves with this most powerful force and put on a sun(god) cloak. The ultimate super re-turn-ee wrapping. 100% mega light. That is doing well. I can’t think of anything more impressive. How about you?

 

Re, checksum 18+5 = 23 re 5, is the territory of the bark-ers and grow-lers. From those who see themselves existentially pressed, – ready to defend themselves. In an animalized version: ‚dogs‘ that are about to bite. Rockhard rest-egos, definitely determined to defend themselves and fight (you can also take another image from the animal kingdom: a cobra with the dangerously erect front body and flared sides). It depends on us what we see. Remember: truth comes always with a price. This price is the lie ingrained in us. Above you see an Ancient Egyptian ivory decoration from the days of King Jerobeam II (Cherubim II re 2 Cherubini?) palace in Samaria, near the village of Sebastia, Nablus Governorate of the West Bank, Palestine. From around 780 – 750 BC, or older. The central element looks already like a communion cup re a Holy Grail.

Sidenote: A frieze, a wall relief, is a two-dimensional box or chest. A better sketch. It is the ‚preliminary stage‘ in the process of a three-dimensional creation. The ‚preliminary stage‘ of a lot of things being put into a box or treasure chest.

David A.Falk writes on p.59: ‘The setjet resembles the grain heaps seen in harvest scenes and probably contained loaves and grain (Egberts, In Quest of Meaning, 1:425). The setjet most likely was part of a resurrection ritual that involved sprouting grain, as indicated by the ‘tree’ growing from the top. A priest prepared the setjet by filling it with wet grain and then allowed the grain to sprout. This ritual is used with other furniture such as the ḥanu barques’ (Quote end). If you look more closely at the central element of the relief, you will see not only the roots at the bottom, but also several vertical stalks, so that we can well speak of a sheaf or harvest.

On top of the figures we see the sun disk. In an earlier animalised version, the ancient Egyptian Uraeus serpent was the watcher and guardian preparing the place of gathering:

If you look closely, the Uraeus serpent is shown in an erect position. Risen, so to speak. I guarantee you that the two Cherubini on the real Ark of the Covenant, if it really existed as a physical treasure chest, just like the many ancient Egyptian gods depicted, were not sitting, but already lifted 1 leg, i.e. were in the process of rising, in the resurrection process.

The snake is not only the animalized version of the wavy water surface and the ‚water‘ hieroglyph now, but represents also otherwise ‚border‘. The ‚up to here and no further.‘ Much later, as a snake in paradise, it also sets the border again, in which it tests Eve and protects the paradise garden from her (and Adam). It is completely nonsensical to represent the snake always so negatively and cunningly. In the test situation, the two people failed miserably. The snake was only ‚the questionnaire‘ of the test.

However, there are other variants to ‚meandering‘ and snakes. Consider the somewhat more ‘angular’ positions re ‚L‘-shaped arm postures of the following figures:

You can also already recognize in the arm posture the later abstract Greek frieze pattern that runs around the temples, or the even later swastika. If the shoulder line is seen as the horizon or ‚the veil‘, the arm positions could mean: down into the n-ether-world, the realm of the unseen, – through it, – and straight up to ultimate resurrection! Let us go back to the photo with the two Cherubini, who are the later version of the two serpents re winged serpents. If you switch re flatten the circle over the heads of the two Cherubini from vertical to horizontal, you get a halo. If you take the bodies away and just keep the wings, well, what do we end up? Nothing really new came after this Ancient Egyptian ivory deco. Doesn’t has to. It’s about something else anyway. Tree of Life, Holy Grail (also winged), Ark of Covenant, Menorah, and other sacred concepts, all are based on the same matrix. Yet such a matrix does not exist for fun. The Ark of the Covenant, the Holy Grail and other legendary objects, are different expressions of one and the same project of ‘the only true quest:’ overcoming death and enabling a completely controllable, wonderful, eternal life in the physical realm.

This relief is from the 19th Dynasty in the Karnak Temple Complex, Egypt. Anub, abbreviated Ab, in numbers 12, in the Latin alphabet represented by letter ‚L‘ re 1 horizontal stroke and 2 vertical ones, one on top of the other, is shown as a sort of sled, sliding towards its goal, with the Ark of the Covenant piggyback. The god principle as a smooth operating vehicle gliding silently along to achieve the final result. Then it is important to realize: no one will need this divine dog-god sled backpacker anymore!

Die ancient Egyptian sledges contained shrines (with side door openings) and chests (with lids that can be opened). We realize that the bearers of the Ark of the Covenant much later form ‚human skids‘. The divine content cannot yet walk by itself on earth. Why? The em-body-ment is missing. Not yet re-incarnated.  On page 78 writes David A.Falk: ‚…Howard Carter fround several examples of wooden shrine cabinets painted black in Tutankhamun’s tomb. These black shrines were the vessels used to transport the statues of gods for interment with the dead king. The fact that they housed divine figures is what makes them relevant to our ongoing discussion of the ark’s context…figures of deities on standards…upon which the gods were enthroned (end quote).‘ Again, we think directly of the ancient Egyptian temple flags (with fluttering ‚ether body‘ on top of a pole, the hieroglyph for ‚God Almighty‘), the caduceus (with the ‚Farfahar‘ on top), or the Roman standard (with the important content on top of the pole). A pole is a spacer which clarifies that there is no earth contact. The gilded, ‚glowing gods‘ sit therefore ‚without feet‘ to walk, trapped in the d-ark afterlife. In the Ark, needing a covenant with humans to carry them around like on an election campaign to keep them alive and built a vehicle, a vessel, with which they can ‚walk the earth again‘ in a Second Coming. Checksum second: 19+5+3+15+14+4 = 60. Since 6 symbolizes the way out, the concept of ‚Second Coming‘ ends up slipping through the exit into the greatest possible freedom.

By the way, English messiah derives from Hebrew משיח‎, mashíakh, meaning anointed, messiah. From מָשַׁח‎, mashákh, meaning to anoint. Compare Aramaic מְשִׁיחַ‎, məšī́aḥ, Classical Syriac ܡܫܺܝܚܳܐ‎, m’šīḥāʾ, Arabic masīḥ.

Back to the roots of Christ: Proto-Indo-European root *ghrei-, ghrēi-, not only means to rub, but later, transmogrified to Greek khriein, meaning to besmear, conceal, cover, hide. In Old English it ended up grima, meaning ghost, helmet, mask (this later became the word cream) and in Middle Low German greme, meaning dirt. I am not yet through it. We take another look at the ancient Egyptian chests. The golden lid on it, also known as the mercy seat, in Hebrew הַכַּפֹּֽרֶת kapõret, from the root kpr (hence Kippah).
